Jean was much loved by her late husband Geoff, her daughters Joy and Dawn and her grandchildren Morgan, Scarlett, Clarrie and Lucas. She was also loved by her wider family and many friends who’s life she touched. She loved children and cared for her nieces and worked in a children’s home before having her own family. Even in later life she never missed an opportunity to smile at a child on a bus. She was an extremely positive person who seized life’s opportunities and lived life to the full.
Jean was a Christian Scientist and a deeply spiritual person, she greatly valued her fiends at the church. Being an active Christian was very important to Jean, she cared for everyone she came in contact with and prayed for those in need around the world.
Jean other love was sport, all sport! She particularly enjoyed football (a life long Tottenham supporter) rugby, snooker and horse racing, she always backed the grey!
As one of her close friends put it, Jean’s was a life well lived.
