This site has been set up In loving memory of Matt “Denchy” Dench who sadly passed away on 1st November 2020. Please feel free to add pictures , comments and share memories of your times with Matt

It breaks our hearts that the inside service at Gedling Crematorium will be invite only due to covid restrictions but we encourage anyone who loved him to share his send off outside the venue in the car park where you can hear the service through speakers or watch on screens . There is a live stream for those wishing to share the experience from home . Please adhere to social distancing and wear masks to keep everyone safe

We are asking for donations to Diabetes Uk rather than flowers , we will ensure Matt has flowers but he would have preferred a more practical use of any money you wanted to spend on him ❤️ Diabetes Uk were very supportive in Matts early years . You can make a donation on this page via bank transfer or at the service via cash or cheque

Matt is laying in rest at Lymns ( Bath Street)before he gets ready for his final journey . For anyone who wishes to visit him prior to the service please call the funeral home from Monday 9/11/20

We are unable at this time to organise a “massive party “ as Matt would have wanted due to restrictions but after the service we would invite everyone to celebrate him and his life which was taken far too soon in your own way
