In loving memory of Hazel Winifred Ruffett who sadly passed away on 12th October 2020

Born in Stewartby to Herbert & Winifred on the 17th October 1925 she was one of four children.

At 94 years of age Hazel lived through a World War, watched as Queen Elizabeth II came to the throne and has witnessed first hand how the digital age has changed the way we live forever.

Hazel (Nan) was the boss and has lived her life surrounded by love firstly meeting and marrying the love of her life George Ruffett (Geo) a marriage that would last 64 years, and then through her two daughters Diane & Marilyn.

Sharing a life filled with happiness, laughter, dancing, and sining Nan truly was at the heart of her family. Her three grandchildren Matthew, Danielle and Christopher and their children, her nine great grandchildren were quite simply her world.

Nan will be remembered as a well dressed happy, loving, kind and caring person, the centre of her family and a true and loyal friend to so many. She really was a true original who has left a huge hole in the lives of her family and friends who will miss her but cherish her memory forever.

A private funeral service will take place on Wednesday 4th November. the family have requested that flowers are sent from the family only and should you wish to make a donation in memory of hazel please use the just giving link above.
