Thank you everyone for your kind words and support and support dad was truly loved by so many people. Covid made his final journey very difficult with the restrictions. But so many turned up at the house and still so many people didn't know he passed away

Pete you was such a lovely, caring man with a smile for everyone! You had such a big heart and loved helping others from dressing up as father christmas for Peter Hills to putting thousands of christmas decorations all over your house to raise money for charity.
You and Vi cared for so many children like they were your own including mine. And Jack will hold fond memories of you forever.
Now is your time to rest and no longer be in pain. RIP Pete xxx
Forever in our hearts xxx
We will miss seeing your smiling face
Love Alex, Matt and Jack Hender
