Brian was the the best husband and dad anyone could wish for. His love for his family was clear for anyone to see.

Throughout the last 4 years, Brian battled with Multiple system atrophy (MSA) but fought it with so so much strength and always with a smile. Multiple system atrophy (MSA) is a rare, degenerative neurological disorder affecting the body's involuntary (autonomic) functions including movement, balance and autonomic functions of the body such as bladder and blood pressure control.

Sadly, Brian lost his battle with MSA and passed away on 14th October 2020 at the age of 62.

The celebration of Brian's life will take place at Rosehill Crematorium on Monday 2nd November at 12pm. Although there are only 25 allowed in the crematorium the service will be broadcast outside where everyone who would like to pay their respects can do so (socially distanced).

We would to thank everyone for all their love and support throughout Brian's illness and especially in the last 2 weeks since he passed away. We appreciate it so so much.

In lieu of sending flowers on the day we would really appreciate any donations to the MSA trust, who do fantastic work to raise awareness of this terrible disease across the UK.

I feel privileged to have known Brian for over 40 years. A true friend who showed courage and humility throughout his life. The love and pride he had for Karen, Ben and Liv was there for all to see. He enriched the lives of all who knew him and he will be sadly missed. Thanks for the memories, advice and football banter. Kent

Grateful for over 40 years of friendship, memories and laughter even though we supported football teams with different coloured stripes. Brian was a true gentleman, a devoted family man and a special friend. Brian will be dearly missed by all and will never be forgotten.

We both remember working with and alongside Brian and he was always generous with his time and knowledge. A true gentlemen with a ready smile who enjoyed a good laugh but always got the job done on time and to his own very high standards.
Thoughts are with Karen, Ben and Olivia who he loved to chat about. Rest in Peace Brian.
