Tragically, on 1st October 2020, passed away at his home, aged 26 years. Matthew deeply loved Son, Partner, Brother, Grandson, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, Step Son, Step Brother and friend to all.
Those not able to be at the service will be welcome to ‘log on’ to periscope from 1.30pm on Thursday 22nd October 2020 to view the ceremony. An invitation is also given for anyone wishing to do so to join a part of the cortege route and pay their respects this way. The service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held at St Peter’s Church, Birstall, bi invitation only from 1.30pm, lead by Lief Wilks (Reader) and Major Wayne Price from The Salvation Army. This service will be followed by a private family committal at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium at 3pm.
In Matthew’s memory donations in lieu of flowers may be made on line, using the links at the top of this page, to Asthma UK and Kirkwood Hospice.
The messages of love and support from all friends and work colleagues have been indescribably comforting. Thank you to all who have sent messages, cards, flowers and gifts. You will never know how much this has meant to us all.
