Christopher James Cooper (25 Dec 1960 - 4 Oct 2020)

In loving memory of Christopher James Cooper who sadly passed away on 4th October 2020. A loving husband and father, he leaves his wife, Angela Cooper, and three daughters, Laura, Heather and Joanne. Chris worked as a Street Cleansing & Refuse Manager for Mansfield District Council, retiring in 2006 due to ill health. He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at age 33, and bravely battled the disease, with a positive and inspirational attitude. He was incredibly intelligent, with a wicked sense of humour, and had a passion for football, supporting Barnsley Football Club for all of his life. He loved Rock music and went to several gigs at Rock City in his later years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
