In loving memory of Dorothy Margaret Russell who sadly passed away on 2nd October 2020

To my English Rose Dorothy, I have lost the loveliest kindest person I or anyone could have ever known.
So many people have lost one of the best friends you could wish to have.
Dorothy was my soul mate, my rock, my best friend, my wife.
Never hurt anyone or anything, always seen the good in everyone, she was perfect, a diamond, the most down to earth woman in the world, I am the luckiest man alive to have been fortunate enough to have known, loved and cherished her.
Dorothy’s star may have burnt out but her after glow will be with me and all her family and friends forever.
Love you always and thanks for our wonderful time spent together, no one could ever ever stand in your shoes.
I know what she would say in this sad time “Don’t be Sad or Cry I am only sleeping”.
Love you always
Please remember to hug your loved ones tight and often because you never know when that thrill could be taken away from you forever.
Simply the best.
Alan x

ALAN RUSSELL donated £100 in memory of Dorothy

Dear all
Myself, Sarah and Family would like to say many thanks to everyone for your fantastic support, cards, flowers and wishes in memory of Dorothy during her sad passing, we would like to thank you all individual, but sadly due to volume this is not possible, but we really appreciate your kind thoughts and words.
We hope to see you all at some point in the future for an aperitif or 2 in celebration of Dorothy's life when some form of normality returns.
But Dorothy is and will be sorely missed by us all.
Many thanks to you all
All the best from
Alan, Sarah & Family x
