In loving memory of Cyril Towell who sadly passed away on 29th September 2020
I am so sorry to hear that Cyril died. We met through our shared family history and our interest in genealogy. We are related though Harry Towell who left the UK and settled on Lopez Island in Washington state. Cyril shared so much with me. I admired his knowledge and his willingness to learn new technology. RIP in peace Cyril.

Condolences from us all here in Auckland. My fondest memory of Cyril was at my 40th birthday when he wore the pink wig Trevor got me, the smile on his face was priceless, lovely man. Sending lots of love to you all xxx

The Garage Door
It's Morning
The Garage Door is closed.
All is Quiet.
Along comes Mr. M,
"Come on Gaffer, get it lifted".
Then from the garden comes a loud laugh,
Unmistakably Yorkshire, with a hint of Wakefield.
It's Cyril.
He springs into action,
Garage door goes up,
Tools come out and he sets to work
On his wonderful, exotic garden.
Later, as the sun sets,
The Garage Door closes.
This wonderful man goes into the house
For a well earned rest.
Then , one day,
The Garage Door closes for the last time and is no more.

Have fond memories of Cyril's visits to us in Lancing .He was a gentle man who loved the family ,He was very knowledgeable and researched the family tree . Sending love to you all ,will be thinking of you on Friday .Rest in peace Cyril .
