Sylvia. Fun, laughter and always a ready smile the life and soul of any gathering. Everyone should have the privilege of meeting a ‘Sylvia’ during their lifetime. She came to my 60 birthday party such a sweetheart. She will be terribly missed but will be remembered for her fun, laughter and love of life. RIP X

My mentor, when I started to play golf, always encouraging, never judging. She came to my wedding and I still have the champagne flutes that she inscribed herself. RIP Sylvia, we’ve lost a goodun. Love Jacquie xx

What an absolute delight Sylvia was. She always made me smile and she always had a smile on her face. And, what a fabulous pair of legs she had!!! Will remember her ‘turns’ in the golf club Christmas show with much fondness.
