In loving memory of Winifred Forster who sadly passed away on 15th September 2020. Born in 1922, she recently celebrated her 98th Birthday.
She was born in Kibworth near Leicester where her cousins lived but moved to Norwich to attend primary school.
Win married Sidney in 1942 and went on to have three children, five grand children and six great grand children.
Win trained as a teaching assistant when the family were older and enjoyed working at the Heartseas School.
She was always busy with Towns Woman Guild, St Gregory's Choir, Great Hall Players and her Handbell group. When she moved to Catton Court she continued to take part in lots of groups to keep herself busy and made new friends.
Win moved to The Warren residential home in October 2019, but missed her friends and family dearly.
Win will always be remembered for her positive outlook on life, her smiles and her infectious laughter.

  • Mother loved her holidays with the family on the canals. Her last trip was September, 2017, and even had to walk the plank!!

  • Mum and I used to love sitting on this bench in Sheringham. It was peaceful and a place where we could put the world to rights.
