I know this was a cause close to your heart Dad because of Mr Turner and then Elaine. We'll remember them and use your birthday gifts etc. to help them continue the great work they do. Thank you for taking me out in the street with you to see them play when I was little. Brass bands always touch my heart when I hear them because of this.x

Unfortunately due to current restrictions we are unable to have a wake which, as you will appreciate, would have been the bit of the day my Dad would have enjoyed. We would like to invite you, if you can, to raise a toast to him from wherever you may be at 6pm on Friday 2nd October and just spend a few moments remembering him. Thank you, Amanda, Robin & Emma
