In loving memory of Pete who sadly passed away on 9th September 2020.
Pete was dearly loved by his partner Romana, his sister Vera, and many loyal and caring friends. Pete will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him and enjoyed his company.
Sadly, due to the current situation, there are restrictions on attending the funeral service (invitation only), but there is a plan for a 'Celebration of Pete's Life' (details tbc) on 18th September 2021 when hopefully all the people that loved Pete will be able to get together and share many happy memories.

Pete was such a beautiful, wild, generous man. A lifetime ago he kindly agreed to take me in, a total stranger from Australia, giving me a home at the Royal Children. He has been a dear friend ever since, welcoming me with open arms each time I came to town as if no time had passed in between. I am privileged to have known him; through raucous parties and quiet conversations. Although Nottingham is a long way away for me now, I miss his energy and friendship and all the wonderful times we spent together. My thoughts are with Romana and Vera and their great loss.
Much love from Australia, Gemma

What a generous, big-hearted, fun-loving guy. A life cut tragically short, but lived to the full. The nights to remember... and the ones that got away! Pete, you made the world a better place. Have it large in Valhalla!! My thoughts are with Romana and Vera...
