Marjorie Wainwright, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away at home on the first day of June 2015.

Marjorie was born into the Towers family in 1923. She lived in Nottingham from birth, and during the war worked at the munitions factory in Bunney. She moved to Pinxton on her marriage to the late John Wainwright in 1944, when she became a housewife.

Marjorie was a loving mother and was always there for her family. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and visiting garden centres, and always had a love of literature. She supported the air ambulance and regularly contributed to this cause. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Barrie Hopkinson donated £230 in memory of Marjorie

These are the proceeds from cash donations made by mourners attending the funeral last Thursday. I'd like to thank all for coming and your generous giving to the Air Ambulance. It's been heartbreaking this last few months but, at least now Marge you're restored to your former elegance and free from pain
