In loving memory of Kathleen Taylor who sadly passed away on 22nd August 2020.
Kath was a much loved wife, mum, mum-in-law, nanna, little nanna and friend to many people. She was a true fighter to the very end, never letting her illness stand in her way. She always had a smile for everyone and always put others first.
Monies donated in lieu of flowers will be divided between Weston Park Hospital and Rotherham Hospice. Kath was a patient at Weston Park for over ten years and the care and support given to her and her family was second to none. During the final weeks of Kath's life, Rotherham Hospice were at the end of the telephone whenever the family needed them and the nurses who came out to care for Kath and those who cared for her in the Hospice for her last few days showed such care and compassion.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday 16th September 2020 1.15pm at Rotherham Crematorium. Due to the current circumstances, family only will be allowed inside, however there is standing room outside and a live web stream will be available. You are welcome to join the family after the service at Wickersley Old Village Cricket Club (S66 2HL), but request you inform us by Sunday 6th September if you intend doing so.
