In loving memory of Iain Bogie who has passed away at the age of 81 years. He was a devoted father of two, grandfather of three and husband to beloved wife June. Iain was an Engineer and Project Manager who worked across a wide variety of roles across the Nuclear, Defence and Aviation industries and this job enabled him to travel widely which he enjoyed. He was a keen DIY enthusiast and was always on hand to help others when they called. He was particularly fond of the outdoors and walking holidays in the Lake District and during his retirement spent a lot of time tending his lovely garden with his wife June. We will all feel his loss for a long time to come...
Iain was a good helpful generous dependable friend. From earlier times in Putney and through various stages in life, Iain helped resolve numerous problems. Iain's presence will be missed but it has been a pleasure to have enjoyed his company for a long period of time.
My partner June has similar feelings and John who knew Iain when he lived in Chesington also expresses his sympathy.
Remembering a very lovely gentleman and the times he told us of his work abroad, some fascinating, some amazing, yet here was a down to earth refreshingly honest and straight forward husband and father. we shall hold you in our hearts as we will June and the family.
