Grandad,

Sorry this has taken so long, it’s been a struggle trying to find the words to write as it still feels a little surreal..

Thank you for being you. I couldn’t have wished for a more kind, caring and supportive grandad. You truly were one in a million.

Thank you for all of your wise words and advice over the years and for all of the amazing memories which I will cherish forever.

I hope that I can continue to make you proud.

Forever missed but never forgotten.
Rest easy grandad.
Love Abi
xxxxx

Dearest Uncle Frank. Such a kind, caring and funny man always made us laugh. Lots of happy memories to cherish. So sad to know you are no longer with us and we didn’t get to say goodbye. Now you are no longer in pain and at peace. God bless sleep tight.

Grandad,

We’re all completely heartbroken you’re no longer here with us and you’ll be so missed, but through the stories and memories we share you’ll never be forgotten.

We know we’re so incredibly lucky to have so many wonderful memories with you. From making it your mission to find something we were looking for at the car boots, to marmite sandwiches in Tamworth, watching you catching flies on the sofa or cracking up at ‘pass the pud’ at Christmas, the memories will last a lifetime.

You’ve shown us all such kindness over the years and given us amazing opportunities for which we’ll forever be grateful.

Watching you with Isaac over the last couple of years and the smiles he had for his great grandad have been so lovely. Both Isaac and Peanut (or should I say Jeremiah?!) will be told all the stories and shown the wonderful photos of you.

Until we meet again, thank you for everything. Rest up Grandad, it’s been one hell of a life.

Love Alanna, Kieran, Isaac and Peanut xxxx

Grandad,

We're all going to miss you. Thanks for all the amazing memories. You've been there for us all so much throughout the years - I can't even begin to count the amount of times you've come to watch me play football in the rain on a wintery Sunday morning. You always gave us all great advice and always encouraged us to pursue our ambitions which we can't thank you enough for. Now its time to finally rest. Sleep well.

Love Adam

Dad, we are so very sad that you have left us, we are thinking of you all the time. You tried so hard to stay with us but sadly it was not to be. You always worked hard to provide for your family and you took us on some wonderful holidays in years gone by. Thank you for all the advice you gave me over the years, it has helped to make me the person I am today. So now dad, it is your time to rest. No more pills, no more pain, just lots and lots of peace and quiet. You have left us with so many great memories to look back on. We will never ever forget you, love you dad.

I will miss you Dad but I also take comfort in the fact that now, you can finally relax.
Isaac and peanut will hear the stories we all know so well and dont worry about mum (as you did right to the end) there are enough of us to take care of her.

Thanks for being my Dad xx

Rest in peace
Love you

God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you
and whispered,
Come to Me.

With tearful eyes we watch you
and saw you pass away
and although we loved you dearly
we could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
he only takes the best.

Sleep well Frank, we’ll miss you dearly. Love Always Helen xxx
