In loving memory of Malek Sultan Mandalia who sadly passed away on 7th August 2020.

Malek Sultan Adatia was born in Saroti, Uganda and was one of 7 children. She moved to England in 1961 to train as a nurse. She loved nursing and worked both as a hospital nurse and then as a practice nurse for over 50 years.

She married Chhotalal Mandalia in August 1967. They had two darling daughters, Monique and Tanuja and one grandson, her beloved Riyan.

Malek was a devoted wife, mother, naani, friend and nurse who touched the lives of all those she met.

Malek was a charming, warm, gentle and kind person who lived life to the full.
She loved music, Bollywood films, cooking, gardening, yoga and shopping (she was especially fond of M&S).
Above all she was devoted to her family.

She will be missed dearly; her memories, sayings and wisdom will stay in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A beautiful person both inside and out - The world will be a sadder place without her.

Nisha George donated £20 in memory of Malek
