Yasmin Amelia O'Donnell (10 Feb 1991 - 15 Jul 2020)
In loving memory of Yasmin Amelia O'Donnell who sadly passed away on 15th July 2020
Our beautiful Yasmin was cruely taken away from us way before her time. She was the epitome of love and compassion. A truely amazing soul. We could all learn lessons from how she lived her life. With no capacity for anger or hate. Sadly she will be cremated on the 13th of August. On the 14th, she will be laid to rest with her father Garry Grove in Sleaford cemetery. Although she is gone in her physical form. Her lessons and love of life, we shall all carry forever. the decision to have Yasmin laid with her father was paramount to me. Anyone unable to attend her funeral will know where she rests. We can all visit Yasmin when our lives permit
As most of you know Yasmin loved all animals (not spiders..) We have taken the decision to make donations to the RSPCA..
I wrote a poem for Yasmin so we could have a very personal touch for her funeral service. I'd like to share it with you all
A Poem for Yasmin..
So here we are to say goodbye
with heavy hearts and teary eye
the lessons brought with your compassion
our lives are changed, my love, my passion
Her love for life excluding spiders!
Will stay with us, will live inside us
A sister, daughter and beautiful soul
will stay with us and keep us whole
Everytime seeking some resolution
we'll call on Yasmin, for her solution
her purest thoughts, bring absolution
will keep us clear from minds pollution
The memories we'll have forever
Will change the way we see endeavours
Remembering the times we've had
So fly my angel up with your dad
Oneday we shall unite again
beyond the mortal coil of men
I'll never forget our love, my wife
these times we'll treasure
your gift of life
-Sam
