In loving memory of Malcolm Ronald Bean. Born in Goole, Yorkshire to parents Reg and May. A much loved husband of Gillian, Dad of Nicola, Sandra and Paul, Grandad to Tom, Luke, Amy, Alex, Chris, Lucy and Matthew, Great Grandad to Noah and brother to Mavis, Eric, Gerald, Valerie, Geoff and Philip. Malcolm sadly but peacefully passed away on 1st August 2020 after a long fight with multiple illnesses.
Malcolm was affectionately known by many as Mac following his 22 years in the Royal Air Force. On leaving the RAF as a Chief Tech in 1976, he moved to Rushden, Northamptonshire and joined the Royal Aircraft Establishment in Bedford. He became Apprentice Supervisor during his time there until his retirement in 1990 due to ill health. Malcolm was a man of many talents including singing, swimming, cricket, snooker, judo, DIY, water colour painting, woodworking, making quality wooden toys for his grandchildren that are still played with today by his great grandson. He was very proud of his family, which included son-in-laws Kevin and Malcolm, daughter-in-law Mairi and grandchildren's partners Kaitlin, May, Eden, Jade and Samuel. Malcolm will be greatly missed.
