In loving memory of Derrick Fernandez Dickenson who sadly passed away on 27th June 2020
Derrick Fernandez Dickenson, aged 84 passed away peacefully at home on 27th June 2020. Derrick was born on 10th June 1936 to Alberga Dickenson and Louise Heinz. Derrick married his childhood sweetheart Lynne and they had a son called Derrick together before he was widowed. Derrick then went on to have a daughter Leah with Brenda Miller. Derrick worked at RA Lister for approximately 35 years as a quality control engineer. Outside of work Derrick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, reading, completing cryptic puzzles and watching sports especially cricket. Derrick was also a shrewd and keen investor and would provide invaluable advice to his friends on their investments and savings. Derrick is survived by his son Derrick and daughter Leah, as well as grandchildren Emily and Byron, sisters and brother including Valda and Jean and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be a private service held at midday on Friday 7th August.
