In loving memory of Josephine Margaret Duffy (Jo) who sadly passed away on 22nd June 2020.

Josephine grew up in Calverton, Nottingham. She attended Colonel Frank Seely school and went on to study English Literature in York. She worked as an accountant for several companies in Nottingham.

Josephine loved reading and travel and had enjoyed many adventures.

Josephine was a loving daughter, a fabulous sister and a wonderful aunt. She was a kind, loyal and fun loving friend who would always be there when needed and your biggest supporter. There are lots of people who feel privileged to have had her in their lives.

Taken suddenly and far too soon. Josephine will stay in our hearts ❤️

Very sad to hear this news. Although I didn't know Jo very well, I will always remember her interviewing me for a job at DFG and will always be thankful to her for giving me a chance.

Sorry to hear of Jo passing away I am shocked and sad that her journey in life has ended way too early.

I do have fond memories of working with Jo at The Money Shop, although one of my first encounters was an interesting one, I remember being told off for writing too many cheques 😄!

I saw her as a hardworking strong independent lady, who was never afraid to speak her mind but also had a very kind heart with a passion for living and loving life, Jo always made time for everyone.

Someone to aspire to be like.

I enjoyed conversations about exercise, something we both shared a passion for and miss those work curry nights out we had. We had some great times.

Sending all my love to Jo’s family and close friends at this difficult time xxx

Despite only knowing Jo through working at TMS she made an ever lasting impression. I remember her big contagious smile and laugh in the office, how she always took the time to make conversation with everyone no matter how busy she was and mostly her complete enthusiasm for life...it was a conversation with Jo which inspired me to keep moving forward in finance and to never give up on my goals...you'll never be forgotten Jo...Fly high xxxx

Jo has been a part of my whole life. We were born 8 weeks apart and she frequently ( after a few lemonades) would tell me “ we have been friends since we were in the womb!
We may not have always spent all our time together but we always drifted back to each other. We have shared good and bad times together, holidays , houses, and always lots of fun. Far to memories to list on here but they will be spoken about often as will she to keep her memory alive. Love you Jo xx

I am so sorry to hear about Jo's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. I had the great fortune of working with Jo albeit from the US. I did, however, get to meet her personally many times on my trips to the UK. She was always full of energy and a great person to be around. She will be greatly missed.

It is saddening to hear of Jo's passing so suddenly. Although not working so close with her I was aware of her as a great person who was very good at her job whilst still showing her wicked, dry sense of humour. She will be sadly missed.

I’m shocked and saddened by Jo’s sudden passing. However, its great to see all of the pictures and wonderful stories about her. I worked with Jo for several years while on the other side of the pond. She was so dependable, and the go-to person who always got you an answer. We had a lot of great non-work conversations over the years and I’m very grateful to have met and “hung-out” with Jo the couple of times she came to the U.S. I can tell from all the posts that Jo was very loved and will definitely be missed.
