In loving memory of Jill Elizabeth Sherbourne who sadly passed away on 22nd July 2020. Jill was born on 2nd May 1936 . She was kind to everyone who knew her, whether friend or family member, and very thoughtful of others if they needed her help. Jill was a lifelong fan and season ticket holder at Southampton Football Club and stayed loyal to the team, through thick and thin, to the end. Jill will be dearly missed by anyone lucky enough to have known her and will forever be remembered for being the best anybody can hope to be in a lifetime.

Jill was such a lovely lady and lots of fun to be with. Going to miss our weekly chats on the phone and her visits to Reading to stay with us. She always asked after the family and they all have lovely memories of her.

Jill will be missed so much, she was such a wonderful, kind, generous and caring person to all who had the good fortune of knowing her.

God Bless you Jill. Rest in peace.

Jill, Martin, David, Georgia, Mark and Yini xx

Jill you were a very good friend to Lilian, she misses you very much. She always tells people that come to see her about you and how you would come down and fix her TV when she messed up and also the Sunday dinners you made for her. I used to enjoy our chats about the Saints and how they were doing and what they needed to do. You made Lilians day when you popped down stairs to see her and when you come to see her in her new flat. Thankyou for all you done.

Jill, you were such an integral part of our family. I have so many memories passed
down from my mother before my sister Jill and I were even a twinkle in her and my father’s eye. You were always there as we were growing up, had our family and now their families. You always took the time to ask after them even our most recent grandchild born three weeks ago.

I will miss you very much and our many conversations which in the end always turned to football and The Saints!

God Bless. Xxx

Farewell to my very lovely Godmother, cousin, friend and fellow Saints fan. Jill has been a part of my life, my entire life, always there, always a comfort in difficult times, always good fun and company in the normal ones: she took being a Godmother seriously and I'm eternally grateful for that, for her love, kindness and sweet nature. I'm going to miss seeing Jill, going for coffee, sharing Sunday lunches on my trips back from Devon to Southampton. Above all I'm going to miss our weekly conversations after Saints games - we shared a deep passion and love for our football team all our lives; we were both season ticket holders. Now she's marching in with all the other Saints. Farewell Jill and thank you for your kind life. God bless you xxx
