In loving memory of Brian Edmund Taylor who sadly passed away on 19th July 2020

Despite the awful sadness of losing him just 6 months after mum, it will be easy to remember Dad's energy and his strength to care and carry on. The memory of his wonderful smile and all the happier times is something that we will rely on in the coming weeks when we miss him so much

Like Mum, Dad passed away peacefully at home and we know they will have found peace and safety with each other again

We miss him terribly but after 65 years together, without Mavis, Brian wasn’t able to carry on. We hope at the end he felt no need to worry, that he was loved and safe in the knowledge that thanks to their example, we have the strength and resources to continue kind and worthwhile lives.

Dad was sustained by his marriage, his family, his dear friends and Poppy cat who loved him fiercely over the last year
Brian enjoyed good times and the good life, his beautiful garden, food and wine and holidays with friends and family. Organising skiing trips or a trip to the ballet, singing in local choirs and a penchant for fancy dress were all part of the fun.

May the laughter carry on

Brian (and Mavis) were wonderful neighbours, when I also lived in Leigh Gardens. I fondly remember the excellent skiing trips that he efficiently organised and always being warmly welcomed by them both at their home for chats and drinks. He was an absolute joy to be with.
