In loving memory of Yvonne Morris who sadly passed away on 4th July 2020.
Yvonne was a beautiful soul, who helped many people in her lifetime. She was passionate about palliative care and the job she was most proud of was as a Staff Nurse at St Francis Hospice. All donations will go to St Francis Hospice, Romford, in lieu of flowers.
Yvonne will be remembered for many things, including: her spirit of adventure, her creativity, her love of dancing to live music, her kindness, hand-making things, being a free spirit and her love for her family and friends. This is just a short tribute page, to collect donations for the funeral. A collection of memories is being made by Nina (affectionately known as Bethany) and will be emailed, with the speeches and the order of service for anyone who could not attend the funeral. The Covid restrictions mean it will be a very small family graveside service. It will be held at 1pm Thursday 30th July, at Braintree Cemetery. Yvonne will be held in many people's hearts and will be remembered with love and affection. She had a deep connection, an unbreakable bond and shared an immense love with her daughter, Nina. Her Grandsons, Luca and Alex and all those who loved her will miss her. Yvonne is now at peace. She will always be with us in our hearts. She was the most beautiful person and left ripples of love and kindness in the hearts of all she helped and met. May she know the depth of her contribution to this world is appreciated by all who knew her.

We met on a Reiki course, Yvonne an I were introduced to 'The Celestine Prophecy' that mentioned energy, and how your perception would change how you saw the world. During one of the breaks we went outside to a gloomy view, whilst chatting about the book everything suddenly became brighter and more colourful, we looked at each other, was this enlightenment, I looked over my shoulder.... the sun had come out, we laughed. We stayed in touch from then on mainly by phone. I will miss her cheeky humour. Rest at peace my fiend.

We knew Yvonne during our time living in France and later when we all returned back to the uk. We enjoyed many of her delicious meals and had many a happy time playing boules together . There was always plenty of fresh veg shared from her lovely garden, a pleasure we particularly enjoyed together. She was a cheeky , fun loving person who was very kind and caring who loved her daughter and grandchildren very much. Her French wasnt always the best, we met in a DIY store when she asked for our help to explain something to an assistant and our friendship grew from there. So Yvonne until we all meet
