May Alexandria Clarke (30 Jan 1929 - 17 Jul 2020)

In loving memory of May Alexandria Clarke who sadly passed away on 17th July 2020, aged 91 years.

May was born on the 30th January 1929 and lived in North London until she married her late husband Harry in 1952. They moved to Dartford and then on to Upchurch with their two daughters Evelyn and Brenda in 1964. May was very involved in Upchurch village life througout her time there. She taught at the village school and ran the Guides for many years. May also took part in most functions in the Village Hall and got very involved with the village Fetes. In her later years she helped run the Darby and Joan club for senior citizens. May had recently moved to Pine Lodge Care home where she was very well cared for. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
