Iris Pain (11 May 1933 - 19 Jul 2020)

I will always remember Iris and the way she cared for me following the birth of my son 45 years ago,it was a difficult birth and she was an absolute angel. I met her again many years later when working at the hospital and she still remembered me. Lovely women and brilliant nurse/midwife.

So sorry to hear the passing of Iris.
She was a brilliant ward sister and a fantastic midwife.
I will never forget how kind you were to me 44 years ago when I gave birth to my daughter .
Deepest sympathies at this very sad time.
