In loving memory of Margaret Webster who sadly passed away on 13th July 2020.

Mum was born in Hull in 1933 to Norman and Lily.

She was the younger sister to four brothers, George, Ron, Stan and Patrick.

Mum was evacuated during the war to Lincolnshire, then returned to Hull where she met and married my father in 1953.

Dad spent his working life at sea and Mum accompanied him onboard ship and numerous trips around the world.

They had two sons. David and myself. David sadly passed away in 1977. Not long after, Dad took early retirement.

Mum and Dad enjoyed a long retirement together living overseas and at various locations in the UK before settling in Nottingham to be near us.

Sadly, Dad passed away in 2008 and Mum found friendship at her local church, clubs and organisations. She enjoyed a cruise of the Norwegian Fjords and Russia, a safari and numerous UK breaks with friends.

In later years, when Mum had to give up driving, her friends supported her and helped her get to church and other events. She has also been fortunate to have good neighbours who have also looked out for her. We have been very lucky to have shared some great times together as a family and have many fond memories. Mum has able to enjoy seeing her grandchildren grow up, sharing in their achievements and watching them reach adulthood.

God bless you Mum
Love Graham.
