Not family members and we remember first meeting, lol you looked so scary yet we learnt you were a softie.
We laughed and joked, bought cakes and made tea, went out went we could to watch the sea and enjoy your company. We would like to say Alex was our friend and we will miss him very much but now peace. A toast Alex, as you know we liked to share a glass with you sometimes. You were a privilege to know. With love our friend Karen & Tracy x

I remember many happy days spent at Alec's house on holiday with my grandparents, sister and cousin. He always welcomed us all with open arms. I remember evenings by the TV with lots of good banter and joking. I remember getting chips from the van that parked up the road. I also remember the last day I saw him. My grandmother suggested we dive to the coast, and find somewhere to get a meal all together. There's a lovely photo from that day of Alec and my grandad Ted stood watching the sea in amongst anglers lines cast out into the water. So many happy memories.

lovely chap can remember many a Sunday afternoon when i was a child Alec coming over for dinner, and playing pontoon or dice for pennies. His hat and pipe, waking him up if he nodded off by telling him there was a pint on the table.

So many memories of Summers spent with Uncle Alec, he was an important part of. My childhood. He always kept a sense of humour and we had some laughs on the phone as I grew up. He will be missed x
