In loving memory of Teresa Irene Holmes who sadly passed away on 16th July 2020. Teresa who was known to everyone as Terri was born 4th July 1952. She was a fantastic Mum, Nan, Sister and Friend, who will be truly missed by everyone who knew her. Terri made some fantastic memories with her loved ones which will always remind them of the amazing times they had. Terri had the biggest heart and was always there when ever anyone needed her, even if it was just for a cup of tea. Terri enjoyed her volunteer roles at Bonny Downs Community Association, volunteering with the food bank and the elders group. She was also very involved in her church, finding comfort in prayer and music.

Terri was warm and very welcoming and understanding of our Travis. He loved coming to Foodbank an would always tell us if Mark and Terri were there - those were the best ones for him!
Terri was open and loving. She and I would have deep conversations about the death of a loved one (Dear Arthur and our Katie Joy) even when we'd not linked up for a while - she could just pick up the relationship and talk.
We will all miss her.
Love from the Porters.

Terri gave me so much more than her friendship. She gave me unbiased advice, hope, love, self worth confidence, strength and the power to believe in myself.
Terri was more than my friend, she was my inspiration.
I am so honoured and privileged to have had such a special, wonderful, pure hearted friend.
Fly high my beautiful friend. I love and miss you so much.

It is with great sadness to hear about the death of our trustee Terri Holmes.
Terri supported Forgotten Peoples Projects for many years and dedicated much of her time helping the most vulnerable people and children at our three nursery schools in Northern Uganda.
Our love, thoughts and prayers go out to her family at this sad and difficulty time.

Terri ... so difficult to put into words what a blessing it has been to call her a friend ... so kind, generous, accepting, always smiling and willing to help or just listen ... she will be so missed by so many ... I am glad she is now in a place with no more pain and no more hospitals and can be waited on and spoilt. A woman who leaves a legacy of love and service x

Aunt Terri, it doesn't seem real you are no longer with us. You and Uncle Arthur were always there when I or anyone needed help and you always kept us all well fed with your wonderful buffets at family parties. I'll miss you very much, your Nephew Mark x.
