Whilst I didn’t know Alan closely, I enjoyed sharing our thoughts and memories of our shared experiences
of years gone by. I particularly remember when he and Mary visited our home in Wales when Rob and I were boys. He was so amicable and funny, and we were so impressed that he was a singer in a band. How cool was that. I've really enjoyed "getting to know him again " during the last couple of years. He certainly put on a
brave face and it was a pleasure to hear him talk about his family. I will miss him. Sorry that I can't make it to the funeral today. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

To my cousin Alan, a lovely guy. I'll always remember him as the cousin with the band. Good to have meet up with him again a couple of years ago and talk over old times of the house at 13 Letty Harry, Port Talbot where our grandparents lived. Picture attached of Alan looking very dapper for a walk on Southerndown Beach with my mother and brother in 1965.

Remembering my cousin Alan. Thinking of the happy times we spent together in my childhood when we used to visit family in Port Talbot! Very special memories of Alan and Mary's wedding when Mary looked so beautiful and I was convinced that she was a Princess!!

Alan has been a very kind neighbour and friend after I moved in 22 years ago. Mary and Alan have always been so supportive of me when I had got myself into difficult situations, not to mention the many cat sitting duties! Alan you well be dearly missed.

lovely memories of a treasured Cousin often talked about in family gatherings, with love and affection, separated by distance, but always in our hearts and minds, we hope reunited with his lovely wife Mary, whenever we met up always had a smile on his face, fondest love to all the family at this difficult time.
