It is with great sadness that the family of Rodney Morris announces his passing after a brave fight against cancer, on the 4th July, 2020, at the age of 75 years. Rod will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

Born on 30th March 1945 he was raised in Ancaster and spent his early years around the Grantham area working as a painter and decorator before moving to Kirton, Boston. In later years he moved to Sleaford where he enjoyed his retirement years going to the gym, riding his bike and attending local music nights and dances as well as spending time with family, friends and grandchildren. Rod was a long suffering supporter of Nottingham Forest and enjoyed most sports in particular pool and snooker and was a regular in the local pool leagues during his early years.

Due to the current government restrictions a small invite only funeral will take place at Grantham crematorium on Thursday 23rd July 2020 at 14.30. Donations in lieu of flowers to Cancer research UK.

Not a day will go by when I wont think of you, you have been a great dad, and an even better grandfather for Vicky and Stefan. Thanks for all you have done, and we will always remember.

In loving memory, Darren
