My brothers and I would visit throughout the years, and it was always a joy to see Nan. I always enjoyed the moments when she'd laugh and say a small comment, or hold an arm tightly when crossing the road. There were many moments when I had something to tell her, that I thought would be of interest, and and she'd just reply with 'Oh' usually followed by a brief silence before she responded. It was always good when we got into an interesting conversation, and no matter what year my brothers and I came to expect the conversation that started with 'So...have you got a girlfriend?'. I will miss Nan's small anecdotes and bursts of information. It was good to see her this year one more time before she passed.
