In loving memory of Janet ( Jan) Turrell who sadly passed away on 25th June 2020
As many of you may know Jan has been battling Parkinson PSP ( Progressive supranuclear palsy ).
Her wellbeing improved a lot after being moved to a care home from hospital. We were unable to visit the care home but made regular Skype calls. Eric and I were able to see Jan just before her passing for the first time in the care home gardens and she enjoyed looking at a photo book that we had compiled of family, friends, and work colleagues.
Sadly, Jan became very poorly on the afternoon of June 25th and passed away in the early evening. It came as quite a shock that it happened so quickly but a happy release for Jan from a terrible disease.
The coronavirus has made the situation very difficult, Jan not being able to see family and friends in person, so thank you to everyone who sent Jan cards, I am sure it made her much more part of this world.
Jan did not want flowers, but a donation made to The PSP Association - Helping people living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy & Corticobasal Degeneration.
