In loving memory of Jean Keeler who sadly passed away on 11th June 2020

Jean suffered terribly with her cancer and its treatment for five years and during last few months she was particularly ill. However, she never complained. That was Jean. She was a lovely, kind, generous and selfless woman and I probably didn’t deserve her. We had known one another for about 56 years and had been married for 50 years and 5 days! That’s a long time but she was still taken too early as she had so much more to enjoy and, equally importantly, so much more to give. I was devastated when she passed away. I miss her desperately and I know I always will

Our memories of dear Jean go back over 50 years to when she first met Brian and we will forever cherish the times, always full of fun and laughter, that we all had together.
Jean was kind, thoughtful and fun - the perfect partner and companion for Brian; a loving mum to Bev and Helen and a doting grandmother to their children.
She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to have known her.
Our thoughts are with you Brian, Bev and Helen, Ian and Jon and the grandchildren at this sad time.
RIP Jean - you were taken far too early.

My lasting memory of Jean will be her wonderful smile; always there, loving, honest. That smile was a testament to the person she was. The scooter, the living room at Cannon Road, and family parties are also ones that readily return. She will always be with us.

With all our love to Brian, Beverley, Helen, and your families.

Dear Jean, we feel so fortunate to have known you and become close friends. We really enjoyed your company, your quiet smiles, long chats and countless texts back and forth, as well as all the laughter! You were such fun to be with; always so kind, compassionate and understanding; qualities everyone remembers.
You truly were a lovely lady, hardworking, gracious and always wanting the best for everyone. We think of your love for Brian, Bev and Helen, Ian and John and your grandchildren, and how proud you were of them all.
We remember so many happy times, days out in France, meals out together, theatre trips, and our special day out at Kew Gardens. I think about you so often when I’m in my garden.
We miss you so much Jean, how lucky we are to have known you.
With love, Heather, Trevor and all our family. xx

Fond memories 0f dear Jean, a friend I have known for just over 55 years. Found this old photo of her, her mum Rose and I in their garden. She was at our wedding, as I was hers, and she and Brian helped our family celebrate their milestones throughout the years. The other photo was taken at our Claire's wedding in Oct 2018. We have had many a laugh at the allotment! Rest in peace Jean , you will always be in our thoughts. All our love to Brian, Beverley and Helen and their families.

Jean, you and Brian were always so generous in sharing your precious family time with me. My happiest teenage memories are of spending time (virtually every weekend, I think!) with you both, and Bev and Helen. You also introduced me to one of my favourite places in the world, the Dordogne. I have taken my own family there twice, happily retracing the steps we took all those years ago. Your beauty, grace, and sense of fun will be greatly missed. With love and gratitude, Suzanne xx
