Grandad,

Missing you today, I hope you can see the boys growing up and how much you would love to comb their hair so it is neat, a challenge with their blond mops! But how they would love to work in your shed following in my footsteps and creating things from all the tools and you kept.

In case you were worried I am still enjoying my job and being careful!!

All our love - Ian, Laura, Jett, Luca and Dragon xxx

Grandad, I’ve changed jobs, I’m still enjoying it - even more so. I hope where ever you are you can see us all growing and progressing. Hopefully you are proud and Nan isn’t causing you too much trouble. Missing your kindness and wonderful humour today. I took the boys on a walk the other day and it made me reminisce about the summer walks we would take to Netherseal or a ver the back fields towards grangewood. Truly wonderful summers I hold very dear.

Always in our thoughts.

Ian, Laura, Jett, Luca, Pedro and Dragon. Xxxxx

Hi Grandad,

Our boys are growing fast and I’m sorry you’re not here to make a fuss of them. I hope Nan has caught up with you and hasn’t given you too much of a telling off. It was nice to see you both reunited last week. Now we have a place to stop by to remember you. Always in our thoughts - Ian, Laura, Jett, Luca, Pedro and Dragon xxxxx

Hey Grandad, as we enter new year and the second of your passing we find ourselves remembering those who are no longer here to join us in welcoming the new year.

We have added Luca to our family and I know you would have made a huge fuss of him just as you did Jett. You lit up when you met Jett and this memory brings so much joy.

We miss you and remember you with much love. Happy New Year - Ian, Laura, Jett, Luca, Pedro and Dragon xx

Grandad, I hope you can see that our family is soon to become more. I will miss how much you made a fuss over Jett. He has brought so much fun and happiness in to our lives and I’m so happy he brought that to you when he was so tiny. Always in our thoughts xxxx

Hey Grandad, today marks 1 year since you left. It still doesn’t seem real, it was a bright and sunny day today, the fields around Overseal looked beautiful, would have been a good day for a walk.
I hope wherever you are you can see that we are all ok and being careful! Jett is a very cheeky young man and I still never forget the fuss you made of him when he first met you! We have another baby on the way and I’m sad that you aren’t here to make the same fuss of this little one too!!
1 year is too much and I truly hope you are at peace! Lots of love - Ian, Laura, Jett, Pedro and Dragon xxxx

Hey Grandad, missing your calm resolve today. I have been to some places which bring back happy memories from when I was little, playing computer games on Tim’s computer round your house before going outside to climb the tree out back (Kitten not trapping me up there of course!) and going for walks across the fields past all the corn in the sunshine down towards Netherseal. These were the times which made our summer holidays from school truly wonderful, getting to be a kid. Thank you for these times. They may not have seemed significant at the time but they resonate now more than ever. I hope there is sunshine where you are. All our love, Ian, Laura, Jett, Pedro and Dragon xxxx

Missing you today Grandad, I hope from where you are you can see Jett growing up and changing so quickly, becoming a very cheeky young man indeed or a ‘rummun’ as you called me when I was younger! Sending all our love, Ian, Laura, Jett, Pedro and Dragon xxxx
