In loving memory of Maurice Hames who passed away at home suddenly on 15th June 2020
Maurice is now back in the arms of Pat his beloved wife 💕 whose ashes will be reunited with him.

He will be very very sadly forever missed by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, close friends, neighbours, the community and everyone that had the pleasure of meeting him......

Maurice was born and lived in Spondon all of his life and has many happy memories including being part of the Spondon Coronation band, which he loved, to being the Manager of Asterdale FC. Maurice also spent many years as a referee, which he also enjoyed.... and for those who knew him he was always right!!!! he really did love his whistle and red cards......In addition to football, he also enjoyed playing dominoes and betting on donkeys.....

For his funeral it is restricted to family flowers only and if anyone would like to donate, we have chosen two charities Target Ovarian Cancer and Age UK any donations would be gratefully received.

Dad we will miss and love you forever and ever xxxxx
