Alan Partington (1 Jan 1928 - 9 Jun 2020)
In loving memory of Alan Partington who sadly passed away at
Queen's Hospital, Burton on Trent on 9th June 2020 aged 92 years.
Devoted husband to Patricia,
beloved father of Ruth
and loving grandfather to Joanna and Lauren.
There will be a private family service for Alan at Bretby Crematorium.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Family flowers only please, donations in memory payable to 'Claymills Pumping Engines Trust'

Alan touched so many hearts around Rolleston, including ours at Rolleston Choral Society. Alan became Our President in 1974 and was totally committed to our choir. He attended all of our concerts and was always so positive and supportive of our efforts. He maintained a living archive and collected posters, programmes and reviews of all of our achievements. At the moment we are about to start to digitalise them and put all the information on our website. These happy memories we shared with Alan will live on through this archive and is a fitting tribute to the dedication he showed to us throughout his life. He was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed. God bless you Alan, rest in peace.
