In loving memory of Margaret Kelly who sadly passed away on 31st May 2020.
Margaret was the most amazing person: vibrant, beautiful and kind. She had the biggest heart and was so full of love and kindness that you couldn’t help but love her.
Sadly at the beginning of May 2020, she was diagnosed with cancer and within a week, her diagnosis was confirmed as terminal pancreatic cancer. She was given only a few short months to live.
We, her family, tried to stay positive and looked for alternative treatments, but sadly the cancer was just too aggressive.
She had a number of issues which had to be dealt with along with the management of her symptoms, all of which kept her in the care of the hospital for 3 weeks. During this time we were only allowed to visit her twice.
She was finally discharged and allowed home from the hospital on the evening of Tuesday 26th May. However we were heartbroken to see how quickly she deteriorated and she was admitted to hospital again on Saturday 30th May. She then passed away on the Sunday 31st May.
Any form of cancer is unfair, but pancreatic cancer is especially cruel as it robs you of time and the chance to fight it. The statistics show that normally by the time it’s diagnosed, it has already spread. Sadly, this was the case for Margaret. She was such a strong person and so mentally up for the fight, but just wasn’t given the chance to fight it.
We have set up a link to the charity Pancreatic Cancer Action, whose aim is to raise awareness and save lives through early diagnosis. This would give those unfortunate enough to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer the chance to fight the disease and a much greater chance of survival. I’ve just come across this page and am saddened to hear of Margaret’s passing. I only knew Margaret briefly through Karine and Siobhan from school when they first moved to Kent but I fondly remember Margaret as a lovely lady with a cracking sense of humour as do my parents; traits both her daughters clearly inherited.
We’re really sorry to hear of your loss and are thinking of you all.

Margaret was only part of the team at Dartford for a short time, but she had such an impact on everyone who dealt with her. She was so friendly and open and she effortlessly built positive relationships with anyone who had dealings with her. I will personally miss her calm level head and sensible advice, and all of the endless cups of tea she made in a day! We are all devastated and cannot begin to imagine how much her family are missing her. Our thoughts are with you all at this very difficult time.

I just wanted to pass on condolences from the London Team to this very sad news. A number of our team knew Margaret and whilst I was aware that she was ill, it has still been a shock and come so very quickly. She will be sorely missed.

I only met Margaret briefly in December at the conference but she struck me as a really nice person. I just wanted to offer my condolences to Margaret`s family in what must be a very difficult time and I cannot imagine what they must be going through.

I would like to start off by saying I didn’t know Margaret very well as I had only met her twice from when she started at Imagile. Those two times I had spoken with her during our training at new street, I can honestly say she was such a lovely woman. Can you please offer my condolences to her family and the team around her, I cannot imagine the heart break they are going through and that I wish them all the strength in the world to get through this immensely sad time.

My boys with "Auntie Magnet". My littlest boy lochlann couldn't say margaret so went with magnet instead. The boys had so much fun spending time with her, she bought them fishing nets and they splashed in the sea such lovely memories xxx
