Hi Linda, so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. It took a bit of getting my head around! Although we have not seen each other for a long time, I still have fond memories of our growing-up time together (some might say childish lol). I notice on the above list of interests Bob liked Leonard Cohen, as he did back in the day.

We learned to drink and smoke, and also played on several football teams together, and these memories of him will always be with me.

Sending love and best wishes to you and Suzie, we are both thinking of you and can only imagine what a difficult time it is for you. Take care and keep safe.

Love from Chris x

Bob.
My closest friend of over 30 years. An intelligent caring guy who thought the world of Linda and Suzie. Many fond memories of our families growing up together. We shared many great nights out and many evenings putting the world to rights or staring into the night sky wondering what’s out there. Now I know you’re out there looking down on us. Always in our hearts.
R.I.P Bob

Our first meeting was a business meeting in a service station, I was armed with a sunflower as we had joked via email about me carrying a rose so that you would recognise me, but you said you preferred sunflowers. It had to be done! We hadn’t realised that we had chatted so long, and had exceeded the time allowed, so had to pay to be there, So there we were, two finance professionals, struggling to work out how to pay something. It was both an hilarious, and unforgettable moment.
From then on, we bantered regularly via email, you had such a wicked sense of humour Bob, and you always talked about “her who must be obeyed” so I knew how very much your wife and your daughter meant to you. I am so very, very sorry for their loss. Rest in Peace my friend.
