In loving memory of Colin Ritchie who sadly passed away on 21st May 2020.

Sadly, it is not possible to extend the invitation to all of his friends and family to attend his funeral.

It was Colin’s wish that anyone who wished to buy flowers for his funeral, instead donate to St Luke’s Hospice.
St Luke’s Hospice provided support and counseling to him following the passing of his sister, Michelle.

If anyone would like to share memories or photos on this page, we love to see them.

Thank you all for your support and kindness at this time.

Hello Colin, when we moved that piano in January this year remembering the laughs and chats we had on that day I never envisaged then I would be writing a message to you on your obituary a few months later.

I just wanted to say thank you for looking out for me, for your enthusiasm in my business and for staying connected with me through Facebook and for all the phone chats. Your encouragement helped me through some bad times and helped me to overcome some personal issues which J am grateful to you sir.

I'm also very grateful to you for your positive influences and for always making me feel welcome and respected in your company. I just got used to having you around again and now those days are gone I am reflecting back 40 years ago when I first met you and the jokes and wise cracks never stopped since that day making people laugh. You were infectious and the loudest 'gob' in the room but that's what we loved you for amongst other reasons.

You were a people person with a soft heart always looking out for others and the memories you have left with us from the footprints you left in your life and ours are the treasures we will keep in our memories that will always make us chuckle. If I'm seen with a smile on my face for no apparent reason then some of those smiles are my memories of a moment remembered with you.

When you catch up with Michelle please send her my love and take from this Earth the best wishes from all of us to pack on your next journey. When you look back over your shoulder you'll see a lot of thankful people who had the pleasure of knowing you in their lives who will miss you but always love you.

Farewell Colin, catch up some day. Trevor 411
