In loving memory of Anne Lillian Stone of Mundesley who died peacefully on the 15th May, aged 86 years. Much loved sister of Dudley Stone, aunt of nieces and nephews Den, Mel and Tony in the UK, Stephanie, Janice and Jim in the US and a dear and caring friend to many, both human and animal. At Anne's request the cremation will be private and a memorial service held in Mundesley Church when restrictions allow.

PEACHES & ERIC DODGE donated £78.58 in memory of Anne

Although Eric's cousin, once-removed, we knew her as Auntie Anne. Our first daughter was her namesake, because we so adored and respected her. And we had a lot of fun times together too before we took off on our own adventures. And over a few reconnoiters here and there over the years. We remember her actually stopping in the road in her red and white Chevy to get out and move a caterpillar off the road. Spoke volumes and set a standard for us all. Another standard: toughing out her MS, for a long long time. Anne: we loved your strength, convictions and good humor. Rest in peace, lovey. xoxox

Rest in Peace Auntie Anne, who brought me great joy from boyhood to manhood on both sides of the Atlantic. Whether it was spending the week each year at the house in Suffern (with Margaret Dodge aka "Lady") or later visiting the UK and staying up in "The Crow's Nest" I could count on my Auntie Anne as an oasis of cheer and warmth and love no matter my family or geographic upheaval. As a bonus, I met and will always remember a cast of characters both human and feline, not just because she reached out to them, but because she attracted so many others to want to be around her. I hope you are surrounded by love and light now, just as you were here. xxx Jeremy.

Denise Donnelly donated £50 in memory of Anne

I have so many precious memories of Anne, who delighted in fun and adventure, lived life to the full, took great pleasure in her family and friends and was the perfect auntie in so many ways. Anne's greatest pleasure was caring for others and countless people and animals had cause to be thankful to her for that. God Speed, Auntie Anne x

In loving memory of Auntie Anne who taught me to respect and be kind to all creatures great and small. Is it a wonder I spend most of my time rescuing injured birds, stray cats and releasing spiders into the garden?!
