Margaret Metheringham (25 Dec 1937 - 9 May 2020)
Funeral Director
This lady, my Mum was a warm, kind and fun-loving soul, a cheeky sense of humour which endeared her to everyone she met. She had many skills, sewing, baking, and crafts to name a few. We have many cross stitch pictures to remember her by.
Being born on Christmas Day made Christmas time extra special, a time for creativity...we made sweets...peppermint creams and rum truffles.
We went on wonderful caravan holidays all around the British isles.
She had a passion for flowers and gardening. Also loving DIY, helping Dad with every project. They were a great team.
Unfortunately When Dementia took a hold of her memory, she had to give in and slow down.
And eventually it consumed her and she became confused and lost. There were now two Mums...but there was always a glint of my real Mum In her eyes. She still smiled regardless.
Always loved. Always remembered.
