David was a fighter to the end but died peacefully at home with his wife Jayne and daughter Georgia on the 14th of May.
His immediate family are heartbroken and he will be missed by all who knew him. We have received so many kind words remembering David as a true gentleman, kind spirit and someone who would be there for you no matter what.
We've been truly blessed to know him, love him and be loved by him.

Dave was not just a work colleague but a friend. He would say “Not everyone gets my sense of humour” but I did and we had many laughs together. I will miss “the man from ABBA” but I will hold on to the laughter. Dave had the annoying knack of turning a negative into a positive. So sorry Dave that you couldn’t manage to do so this time, I know you did your best. I’m sure you are on a cloud overlooking Robin Hood’s Bay. We send our condolences to Jayne, Georgia and family.
