Joyce Miriam Caldwell (11 Apr 1938 - 13 May 2020)

So very sad to hear about auntie Joyce. Joyce is the sister of my dad Terry. My dear late mum Susan was very close to Joyce and they thought the world of each other. She was just a beautiful person and I have many lovely memories of auntie Joyce as I was growing up and the times she made us laugh. Sending love to uncle John, Cheryl, Philip and John xxx

My lovely nan, I will always remember how you made me laugh when we'd sit and watch telly together. You'd always have funny things to say to make me and Ieuan laugh. Me and Ieuan will always love you and will always remember how we loved going to see you and Grandad. Love you always, Bronwen and Ieuan xxx

At birth we boarded the train and met our parents, and we believe they will always travel by our side. As time goes by, other people will board the train, and they will be significant i.e. our siblings, friends, children and even the love of your life. However, at some station our parents will step down from the train, leaving us on this journey alone. Others will step down over time and leave a vacuum. Some however, will go so unnoticed that we don't realise they vacated their seats. The train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells. Success consists of having a good relationship with all passengers requiring that we give the best of ourselves.

The muystery to everyone is: we do not know at which station we ourselves will step down. So we must live in the best way, love, forgive, and offer the best of who we are. It is improtant to do this because when the time comes for us to step down and leave our seat empty we should leave behind beautiful memories for those who will continue to travel on the train of life.
