In loving memory of Linda Christine Grogan who sadly passed away on 28th April 2020

Cain Hegarty donated £10 in memory of Linda

I hadn’t seen Linda for a long time but was really saddened to hear of her passing. However, it’s lovely to see she had been so happy in recent years, something she really deserved.

I have just heard the terrible news about Linda today
Linda and I were very close friends for many years and shared many happy times and also sad times. She was my rock on many occasions and I think I was hers too for a time
We sadly lost touch through certain circumstances, but I have often thought of getting back in contact but that is now not meant to be.
My thoughts go out to her mum and dad and Helen, Andy and her beautiful nieces whom she adored.
And Tim I am so pleased that you gave her the happiness she deserved. She really was a special person and my condolences are with
you

Linda brought patience, compassion and wit to her support role at Rugby College. She made such a positive contribution to those who worked with her and most especially to the students she supported.
We only knew her for too short a time, but we will remember her.

Had the pleasure of working with Linda at Rugby Parents Centre as part of a lovely family team and more recently our paths crossed again when we both started working at Rugby College. Was so sad to hear of her untimely passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Tim and the family at this difficult time.

Linda was a valued colleague and we were developing a friendship that I had hoped would continue to blossom for a long time to come. It was sadly not to be, but I feel privileged to have known Linda, who had the biggest of hearts and whose combined qualities such as kindness, honesty, wisdom, humour, empathy, common sense, creativity and her own effortless style, touched so many people. She is greatly missed.

Wishing Tim, Helen and your families much strength and courage at this difficult time.

Linda is the most beautiful and selfless person I know.
She never judged my dubious decisions and at times unconventional lifestyle. She cared and loved me unconditionally as a friend.
We both loved gardening and spent time visiting garden centres with a cafe..Trips always involved coffee and cake and Linda listening to me once again.
I can’t imagine the sadness that Tim and Helen and her girls are feeling.
Linda loved chatting about her nieces and was so proud of them. She adored being an aunty to them.
Linda was truly amazing and I miss her xx

Linda would often join me at Rework to make crafty things with our clients. But mostly it’s the laughter and comradery I remember. Thinking of Linda’s neatest and dearest today. God bless, Pippa

As I light a candle at home for Linda this evening, my thoughts and love are with Tim, Helen and the family for tomorrow.
Linda has a special place in my heart as one of 'the girlies'. We met nearly 25 years ago as we all collected the little ones from nursery and Linda always took great delight in her lovely nieces and pride in being their aunty. It was always lovely to see Linda on a Girlie outing, and to me she was also a true lady.. always so natural, gentle and caring. Her wonderful sense of humour meant that anytime we all got together there would come a time when she would be creased up at something that had tickled her, laughing too hard to even make a sound! It would set everyone else off, and so it went on until we couldn't remember what we were laughing at. Linda was also massively creative, and of course very modest about it. I have one photo of the girlies together when Linda was there.. a fairly recent one, which shows how, no matter how long it was between getting together, it was always as if it was 20 odd years ago.. the same. I also have a card of us in fancy dress at Happy's do, and all the beautiful things she kindly and masterfully sewed for me. I treasure her make-up bag that I've used for years. I think of her every time I put on her apron or her stylish bag. These things, like memories of Linda, I will treasure, think of and love with sadness that she's gone far too soon, but also with thanks for her and her loveliness.
