In loving memory of mum, you would call me 'sweetie pie'. I love you, always will and will miss you so much. We will carry on to make you proud. We all hoped you would come through this horrible disease. I myself remained positive like you would say 'I keep going'. You did not deserve to suffer from this dreadful disease. I wish I got the chance but would like to say thank you for everything you did for me. You were the best and tried to understand my problems that I had. I will especially be motivated to go on to complete my university course and make you proud, i'm sure you will be watching over me do this.

I will miss you terribly and will keep the memories we had together close to my heart including the buffets that you would put on for family get-togethers, taking me to primary school and supporting me at secondary school, the family holidays we had, the dog walks we went on, the support you gave me at the half marathons I did and the Forest games we went to. I will never get over losing you, I just will have to learn to cope without you for the rest of my life. You are at peace now and not in pain or discomfort. Keep dancing our dancing queen, I love so much

Richard xxx

To my Mother Dear (you would always call me 'dear')

There are not enough words to describe how sad I am at losing you. You were the best Mum I could have ever wished for. I will forever cherish the time we spent together and hold close the memories we made.

You more than anyone did not deserve to suffer and it broke my heart to see this horrid disease take hold of you. I hope you are at peace now and you will watch over us all, proud of the lives you gave us. Don't worry.. Dad is becoming a dab hand in the kitchen.

Until we meet again. Thank you for everything you did. Keep dancing. I love you so much.

David xxx

Ann and I have been friends since our Childhood although we both chose different careers and were being brought up in Hull. We both moved to different parts of the country after getting married. I was their bridesmaid and she was for us. I was honoured to be godmother to Claire and Sally. We never lost contact. I will miss her terribly. Our chats and texts, her bubbly personality and laughs on the phone and I have some wonderful memories of her. She will never be forgotten.

She truly was a remarkable lady. So kind and caring and always thinking of others before herself. She fought her illness with a positive attitude even when it became impossible - a true inspiration. She will be sorely missed but always remembered.

At peace now. God Bless.

Janet, Allan and family
