Our Dad gave Barb’s to us, as a Step-Mother, some would say she was a gift.

Little would we know a Step-Mother, is someone you can really respect and love. We truly did. We called her mam, mum or just plain old Barbs, the name that suits her best.
She was soft, kind, and loving.

She understood us.

It did not matter to her that we were her step children, she loved dad. Therefore she loved us all as her own. Always giving us comfort and support, no matter what and without hesitation.

We were put together for a reason in this earth, an extended family, to love and care for each other. We will remember this. We will think of you in times of need. We will remember those tender moments, how you cared. We will remember how you would have sorted it.

Barb’s, mam, mum (Step-Mother), we are sorry that we didn’t get to see you one last time. But the man upstairs had a plan for you, to be with Dad.

Forever our friend, forever our Step-Mother. Forever our shining angel. We will meet again.

Love always, Simon, Corinne, Sarah and all the Grand children.
