At this time of sadness we all have a feeling of pain in our hearts for our loss. Especially Jo, Anita, Ami, Mia, Grace, Ozzy and Freddie.
Each of us has been touched by a very special soul - Alison Shirley Pendered.
So, who is Alison - Mum, Nanny, Sister, Friend - these words define her relationship to each of us, but, do not define her.
When you think of Alison the following words come to mind, caring, loving, funny, thoughtful, wise, clever, independant, trusting, compassionate, patient, peaceful, determined, tolerant, bold, optimistic and at times childlike.
She has the biggest heart and I do not have a single recollection of her saying NO without giving a good reason.
She has given of herself to us all, at some point or another, her love and her time, priceless and irreplaceable gifts. Treasure these gifts and think of them often, they will warm your soul and bring a smile to your face.
For me Alison you will always be the sister of my soul, best friend and keeper of my heart.
This is for you my best friend the one I can tell all to, with whom I laugh without extent, cry when tines get tough, and we had a few.
I look up to you because you are strong and beautiful and I would not be the person I am without you as my best friend.
Love you to the moon and back. Rest in Peace Wonder Woman xxxx

Dearest Ami, Mia, Jo and family. A message to the wonderful Alison

I'm still reeling over your loss to this world, your family, friends and wider community. You were truly one of life's unstinting givers, listeners and solvers. Our friendship goes back circa 40 years and whilst we had little contact in recent years, you will always remain a very special and dear friend, you meant so much to me. Your loss is immeasurable. The impact you had on so many lives is inspiring and the good you did for so many cannot be underestimated. I will mourn your loss with your family and friends today and going forward.

This is a tough time for those you've left behind and I offer, where possible, my support to them. If I can be half the person you were during your time on this planet then I will have had a useful and impactful life. You are now, and will always be missed.

Dearest Alison, until we meet again in the afterlife, take care.

Andy
