Krystle told me your dad had passed away Angela. I would like to give you my deepest sympathy. Your dad was a lovely man. One of the best.

On 6th May, Peacefully at Five Rise Nursing Home, Bingley, Arthur (Grev) aged 84 years of Sutton in Craven. Beloved husband of the late Jean, much loved dad of Angela, father in law of Stephen, dear grandad of Bethany, Emma, Joanna and Laura, a loving brother to Roger and the late Trevor, brother in law, much loved uncle and friend to many. Due to the current circumstances, we won’t be able to give him the proper send off he deserves. We would like to inform his relatives and friends and anyone that would like to pay their respects, that we will be holding a “celebration of life” once we are out of lockdown.

May we send our condolences to all of Grev's family.
We are 2 brothers who worked with Grev at Whitakers bakery when he was the foreman from 1974 to the day it closed 1987, he went else way while me and my brother Stuart stayed and went into the chocolate department.
Only last week my brother (Stuart) whose off work at the moment was bored and made some scones telling his wife this reminds me of making these with Grev.
I use to make all the bread and pastries for Grev to bake.
Stuart stills works there.
I'm still making pork pies at Drake & Macefield in Skipton
I was there for 40years.
We learnt a lot from Grev and he was a funny man always looking for a bargain to take home from work.
Once again our condolences at this sad time sorry we can't be there, please get in touch through my email about the celebration of life we would love to be there.
